Worship. Worship like He's the only thing in your world. Worship as it's just you and Him.

"I'm Too Tired."
Lately the most popular thing that I've heard during worship is "I'm too tired, I need to rest a minute." We've come to a conclusion that it's alright to stop worshiping for just our priorities. We've now got the idea that it's okay to be lukewarm. Nobody said that the Christian life was going to be easy. We call "pressing on" trying to stay awake during church service. Pressing on is pressing through strongholds. Pressing on is breaking off curses on your body. Breaking through distractions. Didn't Jesus DIE for you? He died a painful death on a TREE for YOU. Can we not WORSHIP him like He's the only thing that is in our lives? When He was crucified, a SPEAR was driven through His right side. What starts hurting most when you jump up and down and worship Him? Your sides. Your ribs hurt. See what I'm getting to? Yes, I think you do.

Raise a shout!
We, as Christians, serve the most high God. The one who created us, and continually blesses us. Have you not noticed that every single thing is or relates to a blessing? For example - if you ate a peanut butter and jelly sandwich today (like I did), that was a blessing. You had food. God provided the money for you to go out and buy that food. He created the seeds that formed the bread, the peanuts, and the berries! That was a blessing in itself! Another example - You're out, about to play a game of baseball, when suddenly it starts raining. You get upset, because the game cannot go on, because it's raining. That rain was a blessing. If you did not have that rain, no seeds for food would be able to grow. They'd be dry.
If we serve the most righteous and powerful God, and if we're TRULY thankful, then why don't we show it? Think about the song "Jesus Saves". It says, "Raise a shout, to let all the world know that Jesus saves!" Why do only a few of us shout? Why, in worship, do we just stand there, with arms crossed? Because we're afraid. We're afraid of looking like fools. We're afraid of what the people standing next to us will think. We're afraid we'll cause too much of a scene. Well, my friend, if you really were thankful for what the Lord your God has done for you, you wouldn't really care. Because you would know that HE IS WORTHY of EVERYTHING. It does not matter what OTHER PEOPLE THINK. Because He IS worthy.
Luke 4:8 - Jesus replied, "The scriptures say, 'You SHALL worship the LORD your God, and serve Him ONLY."
If we live in fear all of our lives, how do we expect to win people to Christ? If we're afraid to worship Him, we'll certainly be afraid to go minister to other people we don't know. Think about it. If you're really greatful for what He has done for you, do you show it? Do you 100%, TRULY show it?

Dating.
Alright. I'm just going to go ahead and make this perfectly clear. I don't like it when middle schoolers - high schoolers date. (I'm only mentioning them because that's who I'm around the most) I just think it's pointless. In the Bible, they did not "date". You can even google "Where in the Bible does it talk about dating?" and the only answer you'll get is "It doesn't really say anything about dating...." Because they DIDN'T date in the Bible. They waited for God to tell them who they were going to marry, and waited until He told them to go marry them. There were no "boyfriends and girlfriends" in the Bible.
Isn't it crazy just to imagine that? There were no elementary schoolers, middle schoolers, or high schoolers running around to their friends, bragging about their new "boyfriend"! That just blows my mind. I would've loved to live in that kind of time.
The biggest reason why it bothers me when middle schoolers - high schoolers date is because I KNOW it's hindering them from the presence of God. I KNOW that it's a distraction for them. They don't see it. They think it's okay, because they think that it's "meant to be". I don't think it's "meant to be" unless God told you. And I don't think God told them that, because we serve a JEALOUS God. Why would God, who is jealous, tell them that you should date someone? Because it's only taking their attention away from Him. I highly doubt that the God I serve told them, "Hey, go date him!" Because It's SATAN trying to get you away from the presence of Almighty God. It's SATAN saying, "Go date her, she'll take your attention away from God!" And I'm just now getting this divine revelation that EVERY BREAK UP THAT MIDDLE SCHOOLERS - HIGH SCHOOLERS GO THROUGH IS GOD, TRYING TO GET THEIR ATTENTION BACK TO HIM.
It's Satan telling them, "Go date him. He'll boost your self confidence. He'll talk to you everyday. He'll sit with you during church. He'll hold your hand. He'll make you feel good. He'll tell you he loves you more than anything."
Let me make this ABUNDANTLY CLEAR. JESUS IS THE ONLY ONE YOU NEED. JESUS WILL BOOST YOUR SELF CONFIDENCE. JESUS WILL TALK TO YOU EVERYDAY. JESUS WILL SIT WITH YOU DURING CHURCH. JESUS WILL HOLD YOUR HAND. JESUS WILL MAKE YOU FEEL GOOD. JESUS WILL TELL YOU HE LOVES YOU MORE THAN ANYTHING.... But you have to get rid of all your fleshly desires, including that boyfriend/girlfriend of yours, so that He CAN. Trust me, you won't feel ANYTHING until you get that crap off your life. Now, as you read this, I want you to ask yourself how it applies to your life. I DO NOT want you to read this and think of someone else. Think of yourself. TRULY ask yourself how it applies to YOU. Not your friend, YOU.
You don't need anything besides Jesus.
He will never leave you.
